Can’t find your bill? Here’s what usually works.

• Search your first and last name together — like “Michael Johnson” — and check the spelling.
• Bills are listed under the name on file with the Assessor. Try a spouse’s name, a maiden name, or a business, farm, or trust name.
• Recently bought the property? The bill may still be under the previous owner — try searching the property address.
• Holding your paper statement? Type the number that starts with R or P, exactly as printed.
• New to the county? Your first bill arrives the year after you assess — if you haven’t visited the Assessor yet, that’s the first stop.
